Looking ahead to this week’s Charter networking meeting
EAI’s sustainable tourism network meets in Birmingham on Thursday 11th October.
The network brings together UK Charter Parks – holders of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in Protected Areas – and others with an interest in sustainable tourism in protected landscapes and enables the sharing of expertise and experience.
This meeting will focus on the implementation of the second part of the Charter – working with tourism businesses, and on the re-evaluation process.
Eighteen representatives of protected landscapes and sustainable tourism experts from England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales have confirmed their participation.
